Their comes a time in life when it's nice to know there are good neighbours around to help you remain ' Forever Young at heart'!

If you are frail aged, disabled isolated in some way the "Neighbouraid" program is one where volunteers visit you in your home to provide companionship. The service of a Home Handyman is available for those difficult small household jobs like changing a light globe or a washer in a tap. Transport to a doctor's appointment or for a needed shopping expedition can also be arranged. A small cost may be involved in some of these services.

For your peace of mind it's good to know that all volunteers who visit are trained by the Narellan Congregational Community Services and remain accountable to that body. The service operates on a needs basis. An assessment must be completed before service is provided.

Calls are made to you at an agreed time and frequency. Time to chat is given if you have needs. This is a great time to express those needs and information will be provided to you.
