For the Carer - a day of respite

Meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. 10:00am - 1:30pm Transport Morning tea and lunch included.

Enjoy companionship, quizzes, speakers, craft, music, shopping and outings to name just a few of the activities.

Cost includes morning tea, hot lunch, activities and transport. Outings costed according to distance travelled. Transport arranged. A pick up time given.

Who can attend?

You must be in the Home and Community Care target group i.e. frail/aged (Over 65 years or younger with a disability or a Carer).

You must live in the community or in a self care unit in a retirement village
Request require and initial assessment then 4 working days notice to begin service. The needs of each person and their Carer and discussed and and care is provided to best needs with the resources available.

The Centre bus picks up and drops you home.

Day Activity includes Special programs: Men's group Carers, Support

Clients needs and interests and assessed and a varied program is designed.
